History
1975 - North Yorkshire
Peter started restoring and selling Antique Pine from a farmhouse on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. He met and married Teresa from the Kentish Village of Eynsford and moved there in 1979.
1987 Farningham Pine
Peter and Teresa took the opportunity to purchase a 450 year old corner shop in Farningham Kent and moved in with their 2 young sons.
After restoring the Tudor house and Victorian shop front, Farningham Pine opened in 1987 selling antiques and original stripped pine furniture.
Farningham Pine was well known for its unique and interesting selection of ever changing furniture.
1995 The Old Bull Stores Farningham
In 1995 the 'Old 'Bull Stores' was acquired - an old coaching barn used as a grocery store. It was sympathetically restored to reveal it’s hidden character.
The ancient construction made it a perfect setting to display pine and oak furniture.

When a derelict public house (The Polhill Arms) was spotted in nearby Sevenoaks we knew it would make a was fantastic site for a new showroom.
The huge task of renovating the extremely neglected building (originally built in 1836) was undertaken and the landmark building preserved and converted into beautiful display areas.
